Op 13 juni 2009 is Globe4D te vinden in Groningen tijdens De Nacht van Kunst & Wetenschap, die georganiseerd wordt door Rijksuniversiteit Groningen en het Groninger Museum. Vanaf de Museumbrug tot aan het Broerplein en het Harmoniecomplex zijn heel veel verschillende activiteiten te doen, te bekijken en te beleven. Wat dacht je van een spookhuis in de UB? Een schrijversworkshop van Ronald Giphart in het Groninger Museum? Een groot podium met bekende artiesten op de Vismarkt? De Nacht van Kunst & Wetenschap bied je concerten, cabaret, lezingen, debatten, muziek, dans, tentoonstellingen, rondleidingen, workshops, nachtelijke colleges en nog veel meer!
Globe4D
Globe4D is an interactive four dimensional globe; an educational device used by schools, libraries, science centers and museums all over the world. It shows Earth's surface on a physically rotatable sphere. By turning the round table-top around the sphere you can travel back and forth in time. People of all ages and backgrounds learn in a playful manner about our changing planet.
