Globe4D in The Netherlands

Looking back at a very successful Siggraph and Nextfest, Globe4D is now back home in The Netherlands where it all started. Upcoming events for Globe4D are:

Animation Human Brain FC Donders Center Radboud UniversityRecent technological developments make it possible to ’see’ the brain in action, to watch it engaging in the cognitions and emotions that are such an essential part of our mental life. Globe4D will be used to project a three dimensional movie of the human brain during a public event at the F.C. Donders Centre at Radboud University, Nijmegen. Globe4D’s outer ring will not be used this time to manipulate the time of a planet but to adjust the radius of a spherical projection of the human brain which makes is possible to look inside the human brain the way you peel an onion. September 28, 2007 between 13.00 - 21.30h at FC Donders Centre in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

CINEKID 2007 - OCT. 14-21, 2007, AMSTERDAM
Interactive Spherical Display Globe4D @ Cinkekid 2007Cinekid Festival is an annual Film, Television and New Media Festival for Children that is held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Every year during the autumn break more than 35,000 children are given an opportunity to attend one or more of the 200 media productions that Cinekid presents: feature films, children’s documentaries, short films, animations, TV series and single plays, cross-media productions, interactive installations and set-ups and workshops. The main festival is held in Amsterdam, but approximately 30 satellite festivals are held in cities all over the Netherlands. Globe4D will be exhibited at the main festival in Amsterdam during the whole week.

Globe4D in NEMO during MUSEUMN8Science center NEMO is the biggest science center in The Netherlands. At NEMO you can discover the wonderful world of science and technology in a playful and entertaining way. The Amsterdam-based NEMO covers a wide range of scientific and technological subjects. Globe4D will be exhibited there for the first time during the Museum Night at November 3rd, 2007.
